Walk me through the space on camera. I'll tell you what I see and whether it needs me there in person.

A plan and a quote
The work, the days on site and the travel, estimated from real flight and hotel prices. You know the number before anything is booked.
On site
The work, in one visit
A planned block of days to do the job properly, with video follow-ups for anything that comes up after.
What travel costs
Travel is estimated up front and included in your project quote: airfare, taxis or a rental car, a hotel, and a lunch and dinner stipend. Only the costs that apply to your project are included.
Flights and hotels change price, so the final travel amount is added to the invoice.

Questions
How are travel costs billed?
I estimate them up front by pricing real flights, rental cars and hotels, plus a lunch and dinner stipend, and they're part of your project quote. Prices move, so the final travel amount is added to the invoice. Only costs that apply to your project are included.
Can the whole project be done by video?
Often a lot of it can: consults, layouts, space planning and design decisions. Some decisions need me in the room to see the light and the surroundings, and I'll tell you which ones during our first conversation.
Where have you worked outside Austin?
I've completed projects in the Northeast and consulted as far away as France.
Is it priced the same way?
Yes. Every project is quoted after the first conversation, the same as in Austin, with travel quoted on top.
